Congressman King hails from Long Island and represents the 2nd district of New York.  Congressman King was the chairman of the homeland security committee for 10 years following the 9/11 attacks and had many constituents who were victimized by terrorism, During his tenure as chairman, the Department of Homeland Security was stood up and the patriot act was passed. Congressman King was a leader in the Congressional inquiry resulting from the Boston Marathon bombing.  He has unique insight into policing at the national and local level and will discuss terrorism and its prevention.
