- Committee meeting time and place: Union meetings take the form of dinner discussions and occur each THURSDAY at 6:00PM at the IOP.
- Description: The Harvard Political Union is the Institute of Politics' center for debate and discussion. Members of the Harvard Political Union come together each week for a dinner discussion on a pressing topic, from the war in Iraq to the Bush Tax Cut to the reform of Harvard core curriculum. The Union also plans exciting discussion forums, campus debates, and panel discussions.

What opportunities exist for individuals interested in the Harvard Political Union?
- Become a Member of the Union. Simply attend one of our weekly dinner discussions, and you will become a qualified member of the Harvard Political Union. You will be kept abreast of all of the events that the Union is planning, and you will have prime opportunities to participate.
- Join the HPU Leadership. Each Sunday night, the Harvard Political Union Leadership Team meets to plan the Union's vision and strategy as well as to make determinations about its upcoming programming. Individuals seeking to become more involved should contact George Thampy.
