Summer in Washington Program

The IOP SIW Program is one of the best Summer Intern Activity Programs in the United States. It is open to all Harvard undergrads that will be working or living in Washington, D.C. for the summer. The IOP hires an undergrad Summer in Washington Coordinator, who works with the IOP Internship Program, to organize Harvard Interns in D.C. with nearly 50 events over the course of 8 weeks. The events range from political speaker series, cultural outings and social events.  There is something for every student and attendance is not mandatory. First come, first served or lottery for events. Nearly all events are free.

For Summer in Washington 08, we have created a Facebook group “Harvard Summer in Washington Program 2008”.  (This is also a great way to connect up with potential roommates.)  Events will begin the first week of June.
