Chair of the Systemic Risk Council Sir Paul Tucker presented the 2018 Annual Robert Glauber Lecture on Reinforcing Financial Stability in a Crumbling International Order. He spoke on making international institutions more sound without suppressing the dynamism of the economy. Tucker discussed more stringent limits on bank lending in accordance with short-term liabilities and more prescriptive creditor hierarchies for banks and institutions as possible policy reforms. Robert Glauber opened and moderated the event.
