Moderator David Gergen, Former Senior Advisor to Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, and Reagan, was joined by Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education under President Obama, in a discussion about education in America. Duncan spoke about the complacent nature of current k-12 education and why he believes education is the ultimate bipartisan issue. Additionally, Duncan expressed his desire to see America lead the world in high school graduation and college completion rates, as well as his optimism for the future of schooling in the country.
