Susan Jean Irving is the legislative director for Senator Max Baucus (D-MT). Ms. Irving previously served as Deputy Issues Director for the Mondale-Ferraro Presidential Campaign and was Vice President and Corporate Secretary for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, an educational corporation concerned with the budget process and reducing the federal deficit. For one year, Ms. Irving was the External Relations Officer for the International Monetary Fund, served two years as the Special Assistant to the Chairman and Staff Director on the Council of Economic Advisers in the Executive Office of the President, and was the legislative assistant to Senator Abe Ribicoff (D-CT) for three years.
