Mark E. Talisman is currently serving in his eighth year as Administrative Assistant to Congressman Charles Vanik of the 22nd District of Ohio. He was the youngest Administrative Assistant appointed to a member of Congress. In addition to his work with Congressman Vanik, Mr. Talisman has served as Project Director of the Operation Government Committee, composed of wives of Members of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the President's Cabinet to produce forty half hours of television about the federal government. For the past five years, he has served as chairman of the Bi-Partisan Internship Program for the House of Representatives and also founded the Bi-Partisan Congressional Clearinghouse. Mr. Talisman serves on the Mayor's Committee on Youth Opportunity, the Ad Hoc Committee on Camping, the Summer Arts Festival, the Democratic Study Group and is a director of the Jewish National Fund, as well as being active in many other groups.
