John H. Smith serves on the Board of Governors of the American Ethnic Science Society, on the Executive Committee for the Environmental Awareness Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a faculty intern and project associate in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Awareness Center and the University of Wisconsin Extension. Mr. Smith is also a member of the D.N.A. Study Committee for the city of Madison, Wisconsin and a member of the University City Coordination Committee for the city of Madison, Wisconsin. Previously, Mr. Smith was Director of the Institute of Ethnic Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, President of the Multicultural Faculty and Staff Association at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and Vice President and Chief Planner for the Executive Council for Cultural Interaction and Awareness.
