John D. Deardourff is Chairman of the Board of Bailey, Deardourff & Eyre, Inc., a political planning, consulting and advertising firm that has participated in more than 20 major political campaigns across the United States. He was formerly the Assistant Campaign Director for Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller's re-election campaign in 1966, Co-Director of Research for John V. Lindsay's campaign for mayor in 1965, and Associate Director of Domestic Policy Research for Nelson A. Rockefeller's campaign for President from 1963-1964. Mr. Deardourff began his career in public service as an Administrative Assistant to U.S. Representative J. Harry McGregor from 1957 to 1958 and then as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Representative Jessica McCullough Weis from 1959 to 1961.
