Joan F. Richman was the CBS News Vice President for News Coverage from 1987 to 1989 and was responsible for world-wide news gathering and political coverage for the 1988 Presidential campaign. Previously, Ms. Richman served as Vice President, Director, Executive Producer for Special Events for CBS News, Executive Producer of the CBS Evening News weekend editions, Executive Producer of CBS Sports Spectacular, and as a producer for CBS News. Ms. Richman was Emmy Awards in 1971 and 1972, the only woman on both occasions.
