Bruce Adams is currently the Director of Issue Development with Common Cause in Washington, D.C. Prior to becoming the director, Adams served as Associate Director of Issue Development from 1976-1977, State Issues Coordinator from 1975-1976 and Research Assistant from 1973-1975 at Common Cause. Adams also was an instructor in the Legal Assistant Program at George Washington University from June to August 1997 and September to December 1976. He also served as an administrative assistant to Maryland State Senator Victor L. Crawford and in the Office of the General Counsel on the Council on Environmental Quality. Adams has also served as a lecturer at Georgetown University Law Center, U.S. League of Cities, National Conference of State Legislatures, and the National academy of Public Administration.
