Barry Direnfeld is the Chief Legislative Counsel for U.S. Senator Howard M. Metzenbaum. He previously served under Senator Metzenbaum as Issue Director, Speechwriter and Press Secretary in 1976, as well as a Legislative Assistant in 1974. Mr. Direnfeld was also a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senator Richard Stone and Congressman Charles Vanik.
