September 23 - Session 1: Social Justice to Public Service: How a Hip Hop kid became a leader in the movement for Affordable Healthcare

This introductory session would be to share my personal values and discuss how Hip Hop & Healthcare are expressions of my inner drive to expand social justice and improve the human condition through my public service. From Public Enemy’s musical inspiration that got me involved in healthcare organizing to using Hip Hop philosophy to push my way into Barack Obama presidential campaign and then using Hip Hop to help him win the Democratic nomination for President, ultimately to using the culture to impact Healthcare Reform and my own career in public service.
