What is the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot?

There is no formal deadline, but keep in mind your request must be received and processed, and your ballot must be mailed, filled out, and received by the clerk by Election Day, in order for your vote to be successfully counted. 30 days before Election Day is suggested:
October 5 for the General Election

What is the voting procedure?
Simply fill out the ballot, sign it, and send it in. No witnesses are required.

What are the deadlines for voting absentee?

Absentee ballots must be received at your town/city clerk’s office by 5:00 pm on Election Day if submitted by mail or 5pm the day before the election if submitted in person:
November 4 for the General Election
The last day to register to vote for the General Election is October 25.

Is permanent absentee status available?

No. You must apply for an absentee ballot separately for each election.
