Send completed form to your county clerk.The city (township) clerk can be found by going here.
What is the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot?
Requests must be received no later than 2:00 pm on the Saturday before Election Day:
November 1 for the General Election
What is the voting procedure?
A ballot will be issued to the mailing address on the application. The ballot must be turned in with your signature on the envelope, so they can verify that it matches the signature on file.
What are the deadlines for voting absentee?
Must be received at the clerk’s office by 8:00 pm on Election Day:
General Election: November 4
What are the election dates and deadlines for 2008?
General Election: November 4 (Registration closes October 7)

Are there requirements for first-time voters?
If you are a first-time voter who intends to use an absentee ballot, you must register to vote in person. If you do not register in person but instead by mail or at a registration drive, then you must vote in person the first time you vote. If you vote in person for any election, you may vote by mail in all following elections.
