How do I request an absentee ballot?
Absentee ballots are called early ballots in Arizona. You may request one through the recorder’s office. You must provide your address, date of birth, and where to mail the ballot.
In certain counties, you may request an absentee ballot online. Follow the link above to find your county’s website for more information.
What is the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot?
The deadline for requesting a mail-in ballot is no later than 5:00 pm on:
- February 15 for the Presidential Preference Election
- January 24 for the Primary Election
- October 24 for the General Election
What is the voting procedure?
To vote early in person, you can appear no later than 5:00 pm on the Friday preceding Election Day at an on-site early voting location that is established by the county recorder. For early voting: Any qualified voter may vote early in person ? . An application to vote early is available from the voter’s County Recorder’s Office. Vote the Early Ballot and return it to the Recorder’s Office in the postage-paid return envelope provided. You must sign the oath provided, and your signature will be verified with your voter registration form. If you do not sign, your ballot will be rejected.
What are the election dates and deadlines for 2008?
All Early Ballots must be returned by:
February 5 for the Primary Election`1`
November 4 for the General Election
General Election: November 4, 2008 (registration closes October 6 at midnight)
