Heffernan Visiting Fellows

The Elizabeth B. and Dennis B. Heffernan Visiting Fellows Program was established in 1975. This short-term fellowship periodically brings particularly distinguished veterans of public life to Harvard for a short stay. The program is designed to provide maximum contact with the University community, particularly undergraduate students. Each fellowship is individually tailored to the background of the Heffernan Fellow. The delivery of a major address in the Forum is considered an important part of every Heffernan Fellowship.
