Thomas Axworthy

Thomas S. Axworthy is President of Axiom Strategy Group in Ottawa, Ontario, a columnist for The Sunday Star in Toronto and belongs to The Political Panel group in The CTV Network in Toronto. Formerly, Axworthy served as Senior Policy Advisor (1980-1981) and Principal Secretary (1981-1984) in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada. He also served in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition from 1979-1980 and in the Office of the Prime Minister as a Special Assistant (1975-1976), Policy Advisor (1977-1978) and Assistant Principal Secretary (Policy) (1978-1979). Mr. Axworthy is a member of the American Political Science Association, Canadian Political Science Association, Canadian Institute of International Affairs, and the Oxford Union Society.
