Dimitris Avramopoulos

Dimitris Avramopoulos is the former Mayor of Athens, Greece. In addition to having served as Mayor over the last nine years, he also served in the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Avramopoulos is also the President of the Summit of Mayors of the World, and also the former Chairman of the Central Union of Local Authorities in Greece. He is married to Vivian and is the father of two sons, Filippos and Iasonas
