SENATOR BARACK OBAMA, Washington, D.C.
George Hayward
George Hayward is a rising sophomore and future resident of Currier House. This summer he is interning in Senator Barack Obama's Washington D.C. Office. With a mother born in Kingston, Jamaica and a father born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, Hayward's biracial background and diverse perspective lead him to politics. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy on a full academic scholarship, graduated with High Honors, and was President of its Afro-Latino Exonian Society. He now attends Harvard on a full academic scholarship and is the elected Political Action Chair of the Harvard Black Students Association as well as a member of The Crimson's Editorial Board. Hayward will pursue a degree in Astrophysics, Economics or Government. After two summers interning in the private sector at Morgan Stanley, he is excited to move into the public arena. Hayward hopes to run for political office someday.
