Harvard University’s Institute of Politics (IOP) Director Trey Grayson is pleased to announce that Harvard Sophomore ImeIme Umana will coordinate the IOP’s Summer in Washington Program. ImeIme Umana is Government and African American Studies concentrator from Harrisburg, PA living in Lowell House. She has been an active participant in the IOP since her freshmen year. She is currently the chair of the Community Action Committee, as well as a member of the National Campaign committee, Citizenship Tutoring, CIVICS and a former member of the Women’s Initiative in Leadership committee.
Open to all Harvard Undergraduates living and/or working in Washington DC, the Summer in Washington program is a great way to learn about public service careers, interact with Harvard alumni, explore Washington, DC and meet over 250 of your fellow Harvard undergraduates. Rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and the Class of 2012 are all welcome to participate.
