IOP Director's Internships Application 2012

UPDATE: The Institute of Politics Director’s Internship Program will be accepting recommendations until Monday, February 20, 2012 at noon. Any applications with recommendations received after the deadline will be penalized. Please send your recommendations to: iopdirectorsinternship@gmail.com



International applications due by February 10, 2012 by midnight EXTENDED: Domestic applications due by February 12, 2012 by 5 pm

All returning Harvard undergraduates are eligible to apply and are allowed to apply for to up to two Director’s Internships. Each separate application requires a 1-2 page (double spaced) statement of interest, a resume and letter of recommendation.

International Application Details:

*All applicants applying for international Director’s Internships must apply via CARAT  and through the allocated center website- IOP, Center for European Studies, HIGH, etc. The CARAT application offers the opportunity to receive additional funding for living expenses, visas, transportation costs, etc. Please use the budget worksheet to note expenses  outside of the $4000.


The deadline for the CARAT application is Friday, February 10, 2012 by 3pm at the Harvard Office of Career Services.  Applications received after the 3pm deadline or missing any component of the application will not be considered. The application can be found here. The IOP programs fall under the "Harvard-Run Summer Program" category.
