Director’s Internship Program

The Institute of Politics Director's Internship program arranges paid summer internship opportunities for returning Harvard undergraduates interested in exploring a summer in politics and public service. This summer, the IOP will offer over 80 Director’s Internships throughout the United States and abroad. IOP Director's Interns are responsible for completing 8-10 weeks of substantive internship work and in exchange will receive a financial stipend of $4000.

International

*All applicants applying for international Director’s Internships must apply via CARAT  and through the allocated center website- IOP, Center for European Studies, HIGH, etc. The CARAT application offers the opportunity to receive additional funding for living expenses, visas, transportation costs, etc. Please use the budget worksheet to note expenses  outside of the $4000.


The deadline for the CARAT application is Friday, February 10, 2012 by 3pm at the Harvard Office of Career Services.  Applications received after the 3pm deadline or missing any component of the application will not be considered. The application can be found here. The IOP programs fall under the "Harvard-Run Summer Program" category.
